GRAND BUDAPEST
During this tour you will see and visit the most important sights of the Buda & Pest side together. Buda and Pest used to be two different cities, the two parts were only united in 1873. Ever since their own, individual characters were preserved. Buda is the hilly, smaller part of Budapest with parks and it is also the green, residential area of the capital, meanwhile the Pest side, is the vibrant, grandiose metropolis, with exciting architecture, massive buildings, elegant avenues and boulevards. During this tour you will be able to see certain sights from both sides, those ones that attract you the most. It is also ideal to have an introduction and orientation, just after you arrive. You will visit the oldest part of Budapest, the castle district, visit Matthias Church and the Fishermen’ Bastion meanwhile enjoying breathtaking views. From the top of Gellért Hill enjoy the most stunning views of the entire city and see the Liberation Monument, emblematic memorial of the capital. Visit Heroes Square, which is the showcase of the most important historical figures of Hungarian history. Visit St. Stephen Basilica and/or the Great Synagogue and many more … ! This tour primarily should be by minivan and it is a full day (8hrs) tour.
